We celebrated 6 years of serving God with faith, love, truth, and community. God has blessed all of us at Lighthouse Apostolic Church. The church continues to grow with wonderful saints that are a treasure to the house of God. We are so thankful for our friends that pray for us and to see our church have wonderful music for our anniversary service. Bro Landon played the piano, Bro Norris played the organ, Bro Josh played the drums, Bro Josiah played the guitar, and Bro Clayton played the base. Sis Salisha, Bro Tony, and Sis Kaytlyn sang and were so annointed in minding the Holy Ghost in the song choices. The music was amazing, and all of the musicians and singers were all in agreement in playing and singing. All the glory goes to God because the holy ghost moved, and we were truly blessed.

On Friday, Bro Sangl preached an amazing message from Ruth “For Such A Time As This”. God provides the increase. We are not behind the great men of the Bible. We are the people that are for such a time as this. God called just ordinary people to do extra ordinary things that God wanted them to do. If you make yourself available. If you believe God will help you in his kingdom for his glory. Jesus is our strongest weapon in our arsenal. Do everything in the name of Jesus. We are here for such a time as this to be used by God. We need to be holy because God is holy. In today’s time man tries to move God down to mans level instead of man moving to God’s level. We live in a land of false accusations and long tongues. There is nobody that will fight holiness any more than one that once embraced it.

We won’t raise our voice to the false accusers; we will pray for them. They are not worth fighting. They will not prosper. We are better off going to an alter and pray for them and let God take care of them. Their doom is sealed. We will just keep pressing and praying. Hear O Isreal the Lord our God is one Lord. Give your very best to God. People cannot discern a good saint, a great saint or a once in a lifetime saint to satisfy God. One day we will stand before God you will know if you did your best, but God will be your judge. It is not the applause, have you done your best and are you a willing vessel?

On Saturday Bro Tony preached an awesome message from II Corinthians “ Ministry of Reconciliation” Reconciliation means to reestablish a fractured relationship that was broken. Sin is a separator and separates you from God. If you will serve God he will fight your battles. If you choose not to serve God, you will fight you battles on you own. Isreal went from serving God then butted up against leadership and over 10 generations they didn’t even think of God. Worldly leadership is not God, Jesus was not just a man, he was God manifest in the flesh, and he is still in control and is the leader on his throne. Upon this rock (revelation of who Jesus is) I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against me. The gates of hell are prevailing in a lot of churches today, not at Lighthouse Apostolic Church. Satin may defeat the world, but he is not defeating our church. God is fighting our battles, and the devil will not prevail against us. You that are blameless cast the first stone. Jesus dropped seeds to reconcile with him. What can wash away my sin…nothing but the blood of Jesus. What do we do when we find out that we are lost? Acts 2:38 says Then Peter said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saving, save yourselves from this untoward generation. The strength of the church is not measured by how many who it can run off, the strength of the church is measured by who it can reconcile. The strength of reconciliation is letting a sinner or backslider know that they can come back and be saved. When they fall they don’t have to stay down they can rise again and be saved. The church is a host of people that have been reconciled. They can have a life worth living. When someone goes hunting the hunter keeps the head as a trophy. When we come to church and repent and dedicate our lives to Jesus we become God’s trophy. We need to share how God has reconciled us. As the people came to see Jesus they didn’t come to only see Jesus. They also wanted to see Lazarus, because they heard that Jesus rose him from the dead. We want to see the sinner reconciled and the backslider reconciled, to see how Jesus is changing their life for God to get the glory. We are all a message in itself of how we have reconciling power with God and a testimony to help others. God is a gracious god, merciful, slow to anger, of kindness. Ahab angered God more than any other. We don’t want to trade a young person for someone new and better; we want to reconcile the young person and keep them. We also want to save the sinner. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. You want to see how spiritual someone is, look at their ability to restore. Some consider themselves spiritual but are very quick to cut someone off for making a mistake. If you want to let people know that you are spiritual your life will be invested in restoring. You don’t have to be behind the pulpit to be a part of the ministry of reconciliation. Call a backslider, tell them it’s a good time to come home, to be a part of the church. God did not call us to divide, God is the master at dividing sheep from the goat, tares from the wheat, day from the night, water from the land. God called us to reconcile. God is a restorer to those that are committed to him. You can come out of any of your problems. Jesus is the answer for the world today.

Bro Archer stayed over and preached an amazing message to us. When God gets a hold of you, you will change your attitude. The holy ghost never gets old. Your pastor is the one that is going to get you ready for the rapture. The highest one, the chosen one that will lead you to the rapture.

We need to apologize and ask forgiveness. If you need correction you need to take it. God will forgive you if you need correction and take it. Do not fight the preacher. Don’t ever run your pastor down. There are people that do not accept their Pastors advice and go and run down the Pastor. When they are running the Pastor down, they are not confessing their sins. Do not do anything major unless you sit down and talk to your Pastor. Do not elevate your wisdom above his. You are offending God when you do that. People make excuses for not obeying the Pastor.

Don’t run each other down. Bitterness is one of the worst enemies. Find the grace of God to say I forgive you. Casting all of your cares because he cares for you. Casting means that you need to let go of it. If you do not forgive others, then how do you expect God to forgive you. If you can’t forgive your spouse, then how do you expect them to forgive you. Getting married and being selfish is not a good thing. Matthew 24:4-11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. If you believe a lie means that you will be judged for that. There are too many tale barers in this day. If you were not there then you are not a witness. If you accuse someone you must have two witnesses. If people do not love each other then you may not make it to heaven. God will not take envy, strife, hatred, and murder to heaven. You have to let it go in order to make it to Heaven. If we are not careful and we do not know the time that we are living in. Then we might not get some things straightened up before we pass or the rapture takes place. Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. Some people cannot control their tongue; they are not spiritual. When someone does you wrong do not try to pay them back, Let God do it. If you sow mercy, then you will reap mercy. There is going to be a time when you will need mercy. Do not hold grudges. Let everything in your past go. Vengence and rath belong to God. Time is winding up, you better be ready. Perplexity is when you do not have an answer, and we are definitely living in a very complex world. If you are honest and sincere with your Pastor, there are things that will happen that are miraculous and you will not know how it happened. However the only way to get mercy from God is to submit and obey your Pastor. Your biggest enemy is the one that you look at in the mirror. Following peace does not always mean that you possess it. We are going to face things, that if we don’t get it right it could destroy your walk with God. God does not want anyone to fail. God gets no pleasure in someone failing.

We moved Pastor’s office to create space for 30 more chairs in the back of the sanctuary. Pastor opened the wall up so that more people could join us for our meeting. God helped Pastor’s wife to re-upholster 40 additional chairs. Then she remove the pastic bottoms of the original 30 chairs and replaced with wood to better secure the seats. Under every single seat is a scripture from the BIBLE that has helped us all with praise, worship, repentance, baptism, how to be a true christian along our journey to make Heaven our home. We got new tissue boxes that were plain wood that got designed to match the sanctuary. Pastor and his wife, like Solomon who asked for wisdom instead of asking for wealth have used it to improve the church. God has blessed our church abundantly. God always provides when the church is in need. You truly cannot outgive God. If you put God first there is nothing that you will not be able to do if it is his will in such a time as this. To God be all of the Glory!!!! We are overly Thankful for our church and the people that join us in services.
